VELCO’s Advancing Grid Intelligence through Learning Experiences (AGILE) Program is a summer internship opportunity for undergraduate and graduate college students. Based on principles of agile project management, AGILE Interns will make meaningful and tangible contributions to VELCO’s strategic projects to protect reliability and affordability of the transmission system.
How you will make an impact
AGILE Interns will be assigned to one department and complete interdisciplinary projects. AGILE Interns will participate in inter-departmental “scrum” meetings throughout the summer to coordinate and align their respective projects with the requirements of multiple technical stakeholders. Based on department and objectives, the daily work will vary.

Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Preference will be given to students who have accumulated two years of pertinent part-time experience. Participants with open-mindedness, attention to detail, and excitement about gaining new insights every day will thrive in this innovative, fast-paced learning experience.
